Summary:

Thirsty Affiliates is one of the best Affiliate Management plugin so far. Find out how you can solve your affiliate marketing problems here.

More Details

Do you really need this kind of plugin? That is what I had been asking myself many times before I make my decision to purchase Thirsty Affiliates.

So, allow me to get over some of my affiliate marketing experience first.

I started off promoting 1-2 products which I really think is helpful to me and can be helpful to my readers as well. At that time, Thirsty Affiliates never comes into my mind, not even any other solutions that capable of cloaking affiliate links.

Why I don’t care? Because I feel my readers has the right to know that it is an affiliate link and I earn some commission for promoting it. Believe me, honesty is the best policy.

So why I start using the Thirsty Affiliates plugin?

The problems come when you start promoting more products, up to probably 10 or 20 of them. And today, you are going to see how Thirsty Affiliates solves my problems as part of the product review.

Reduce my time to look for affiliate links

There was once I tried to write a post that needs to include 10 affiliate links. It was a post about Top 10 discounts for Computer Software that I had been promoting all these while during Christmas period and in each discount, I add an affiliate link.

I already have those links in my previous review posts but because I don’t have a centralized place to manage my links, I have to waste my time to collect all these links back.

So, the Thirsty Affiliates enables me to easily include my affiliate links into any of my post with just a click.

Affiliate links cloaking

Although I don’t really mind letting my readers know that I am promoting an affiliate product, but there is always a better way of doing it.

Thirsty Affiliates had been cloaking my links so far without giving me any problems except for the first time when I first activated the plugin. There was some 404 issue but it was already posted at the FAQ section of the main site on how to fix it.

On top of that, you can make all your affiliate links to rel=”nofollow” with just a click rather than what I had been doing all the time which is to click on the HTML editor of my WordPress writing area, locate the link and manually type rel=”nofollow”.

Easy statistic tracking

Let me ask you one thing here. How do you track our affiliate performance?

Login into the affiliate network and run some reporting? Good, but not the best.

Let me share with you my problem again. I had been logging into affiliate network every morning to check my statistic and at the very first time, I just need to login into 2-3 affiliate networks.

After a period of doing affiliate marketing, I begin to have 7-8 affiliate network accounts and I am not going to login these much of accounts just to check my stats.

So, thanks to Thirsty Affiliates, it has the Statistic Add-On WordPress plugin for the Premium version and all I need now is just to view my statistic from my WordPress.

Reasonable price

Before approaching Thirsty Affiliates, I was comparing the price between MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate and my intention at that time, was to get a multi-site plugin.

Thirsty Affiliates was priced at $59.00 only while MaxBlogPress was priced at $97.00. I am not too sure what MaxBlogPress has to offer further but I personally feel that it was a bit over-priced.

My intention is to get a plugin that can cloak my links and manage my links for all my sites where Thirsty Affiliates fit into my requirement and the price is reasonable.

And Finally – The support

One of the thing I like about buying premium plugin is the support I get and so far, Thirsty Affiliates is doing a good job.

The creator, Josh Kohlbach was like a close friend of mine even I never met him in person before. He handled all the support request professionally and the response is always fast.

Any cons for this plugin?

Well, I wouldn’t say this is a con but I think it will be even more convenient if all the links are saved in the cloud.

I mean, wouldn’t it be great if you centralized all your links in the cloud and all you need whenever you start a new blog is to login into your account and get all your affiliate links.

So my answer is No, there isn’t really any cons for this plugin so far.

I had been using for all my sites, I’m satisfied and I highly recommend Thirsty Affiliates to bloggers who want to take your affiliate marketing to the next level.
