wordpress-blog-designTalk about the lack of logic! There is no doubt over the fact that websites, or for that matter, any web solution is always in the radar of the malicious coders prowling around on the web.

They are looking for that single backdoor entry to break into your website and gain unauthorized access.

But it is a fallacy that having your website hosted on WordPress makes you even more vulnerable to them.

WordPress, on the contrary, is a platform that equips you with some exceptional authentication features that don’t much room to the hackers and web intruders to penetrate your website and inject their illicit codes.

The CMS is inherently made to be highly robust against any intrusion attacks and if you constantly update your WordPress theme (something that a lot of bloggers miss out on) you are automatically helping your website keep up with the latest threats ion the web.

And in order to further elevate the security aspects of a website, this platform offers you a suite of plugins that are powerful and add to the security layers of your site.

The add a firewall on your site to keep all the threats at bay.

Choosing WordPress Over Other CMS Platforms is Compromising with Speed

They are a nightmare for the site owners since slow loading times prove to be major dent in the user-experience.

An average web user doesn’t like to wait beyond a couple of seconds for a website to load fully.

It hardly takes a delay of few seconds for their mouse pointer to head towards the close button.

But to believe that the reason for the slow loading time of your website is WordPress might amount to a mistake.

Granted, there are some not-so-recommended WP themes installing which might affect your website’s speed since they are poorly coded and not at all suited for sites that receive a lot of traffic.

But, if you do a thorough research and take some feedback from the experienced webmasters, you might save yourself from installing these themes.

Besides themes, there are other factors like poor services by your hosting service provider or adding too many plugins to your site or for that matter, filling your website with flashy design that might affect the speed negatively.

WordPress is Only for Bloggers

If you have kept yourself limited to a certain number of themes that do not add any degree of innovation to the way they are developed and designed, you might as well start believing this myth.

However, if you branch out a little and explore WordPress for all its incredible themes, you will realize you have a lot on your platter and most of it is free.

And you don’t always have to go with ready made themes.

If you have the budget, you can hire experienced web developers who have the requisite skills and experience to create custom themes that are in sync with what you are aiming for.

A priceless blogging platform, WordPress is there for the taking. Get all the misconceptions off your mind and fuel your web development endeavor with the best CMS out there.

Personally, I find WordPress to be the easiest solution for website design. You can do custom work from it in the Editor if you choose, and if you dont know how to do custom work or dont want to learn – you can just use the WYSIWYG style of WordPress itself. I love to design using their platform and prefer it to coding from scratch.Cheers !
